What are the minimum entry requirements to register directly into the ACCA Qualification?
The minimum entry requirements for the ACCA Qualification are:
- Two A-Levels (GCE) and three O- levels (GCSEs or IGCSEs), these need to be in five separate subjects including English and Maths, or
- CBSE XII standard with passes held in 5 subjects (at least 3 in Year XII) including English and Mathematics / Accounts, mark of 65% in at least 2 subjects and over 50% on the others.
If I do not meet the above requirement, can I still register with ACCA?
Yes, you can. You will register through the Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) route. There are no minimum entry requirements for the FIA route. Remember that when registering through the FIA route you must choose the option to automatically transfer to the ACCA qualification. If you do not choose this option, you will be required to make a payment for the transfer into the ACCA qualification.
What documents do I need to register?
You are required to submit copies of the following:
- Official educational documents e.g. completion certificates and transcripts detailing the modules studied
- Proof of identity (copy of birth certificate / passport )
- Passport-style photograph
Please note that where documents have been issued in a language other than English, we require a photocopy of the original language documents and a copy of an official English translation. You will be able to upload and attach copies of all documentation to your online application. Please note that in order to fully complete your application online you will be required to pay your registration fee by credit or debit card.
