CAT (Certified Accounting Technician) Qualification

The CAT (Certified Accounting Technician) UK Qualification is offered by ACCA. Upon completion of the required exams and required practical work experience, the CAT graduate will be a able to use CAT after his/her name and can join the CAT Alumni. CAT is an introductory qualification in Accountancy which enables the student to work as an accountant.

• Introductory certificate in Financial and Management Accounting- Two exams.
• Intermediate certificate in Financial and Management Accounting- Two exams.
• Diploma in Accounting and Business- three exams.
• CAT- All the above exams plus two exams out of three optional papers.
• A professionalism and ethics module is to be completed.
• One year’s relevant practical experience.
